Pastor Sam DeMarco serves as the Senior Pastor of New Brighton Christian Assembly. He is a graduate of Geneva College and holds a graduate degree in Practical Theology from Oral Roberts University.

Pastor Sam’s experience includes various leadership roles within the church (with youth, worship, and pastoral ministry on the local, regional, and national levels), as well as a professional background in the marketplace.

It’s Pastor Sam’s passion to impart into students, seeing them discover and live the call of God.

Pastor Sam and his wife Jill are happily married with two daughters, Alyssa and Gina.


John Merola serves as the Director of EMPOWER – NBCA School of Ministry Director. He is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and also holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College. John has a wide range of ministry and leadership experience. He has authored several books, and offers an insightful and inspiring teaching perspective. John and his wife Lori are happily married with three sons.

Frank Deltino attended Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, Northeast Bible Institute in Green Lane, PA, and graduated from Western PA Bible Institute in Butler, PA. Frank received a Bachelor of Theology Degree from Christian International in Santa Rosa, Florida. He also attended Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia, studying towards a Masters Degree in Biblical Theology.

Frank taught Bible at Western PA Bible Institute. He has worked in the church extensively through the years in various capacities. He is presently Director of Care Ministry at New Brighton Christian Assembly. Frank has had his own successful business for the last 30 years as an accountant serving numerous businesses throughout the tri-state area. Frank has been married to his wife Lynn for 30 years, and together they have 2 adult children.


Brad Ovial is a retired educator, having worked in the public school system for 31 years. He taught on the secondary level for 18 years and was an administrator for 13 years. Brad received a B.S. Degree in Education from California University of Pennsylvania, a M.S. Degree in School Counseling from the University of Dayton, and a secondary administration certification from Youngstown State University.

Brad currently is a part-time professor at Slippery Rock University. He also serves on the Ellwood City Borough Council.

He and his wife Lisa have been happily married for 37 years and are the parents of two grown children, Anthony and Caroline.
